Streaks of light mar my perfect darkness And shadows dance in blinding rays Trace the paths across my legs And find the destination is always the same. The rocks erode as the wind grows colder And the waves splash fiercely against my face. I mistook moths for butterflies Carving my stomach causing it to ache. I don't know what to say, My words are slurred and quickly fade Day by day by day by day My hopes grow wings and fly away.
I'm now here, in nowhere turning on a cracked sphere.
