That day the rain had knocked at my window
And you, in a pink frock, took me to the street

Arms in arms, we ran, slipped and laughed
Like kids in shorts rejoicing each droplet

On a white horse you had leapt as it raced
And I froze thy smile in a selfie, kissing thy neck

We had fried chicken in a motel, rain still falling
And you crept to me, with a little bit shivering

Today pattering is very high and I, at my window
Leafs through Romance in Rain  at quick speed

On the table you are smiling and I am in your fold
And outside the roads are bleak like wilderness

You would have sipped the splashing moment
Bringing me close to your lips, waiting to be doused
