May 2016
We swarm around this earth,
Like flies on a carcass.
Laying eggs in this decaying nest,
Letting our maggots eat everything that's left.
From the inside out, leaving a hollowed core
We've rid this land of all that's pure.
Chaotically, we fly
Towards the light we use to hide
All of this darkness. Ignorance,
Is our spirit's harness,
That we use to lift us up to heaven.
To escape our planet's life recession.
