A twinkle in the night sky, a cold and distant light. A precious jewel that pierces the curtain of night. What is a start that we should wish upon it. When we in our mortal state call to it for guidance of our fate, can we be sure that it is still there. Its light has traveled so far so that we can see it. At one particular moment it is there then can be gone. So I choose to believe that wishing upon a star holds a purpose and a place for me, even if the star upon which I wish may have been gone before the world even knew of me.
