Once again
I’ve jumped the fence
To quickly to let it be
My heart is so lonely
And empty inside
That is all I could see
From the very start
We talked as if
We’d always been friends
But too fast the pace
Too quickly revealed
That this was going to end

I don’t want to make you cry
But I’m afraid that this is it
And I have to say goodbye
The purpose we
Were brought this way
Was not for love as I’d thought
But to help you see
What is within
Something that can’t be bought

to see it through
and do what needs to be done
make a change
to pursue your dreams
and make them all your own
I cannot travel this way with you
Distance between is too far
