Rubber soles, pliant souls
Turning in my hours of
Sleep, for something
More mystical.

A cup of coffee, the
Columbian kind.

Dark thick
Quick as bricks
The brew to
Uproot the
Mind.

Take me through time
Where the worries are
No more, sweet Java bean
Memorable, satisfying
I taste your cling.

My lips buzz and bing
Suds that link into
The casted out shadows
Like stones and bones
My insides rattle.

I'm hanging above the
Skylines, afloat in the
Reasons of life. I've
Overcome talkers
And talk backers
I've been through
This before, I get
Higher from the
Laughter of sweet
Innocent's, I'm still
A child and a girl.

This is my cup
Of mi amor.
