I look into a shattered mirror and see a distorted reflection. I watch my heart laying about in a thousand pieces glistening like a shattered jewel. I reach to gather the pieces, but each shard cuts me reminding of the wound you inflicted on me. I bleed my emotions until I am empty. I am at a loss for words. My tears have salted the earth and caused black flowers to grow in their wake. All is sorrow and mourning as I walk an empty shell. My love is broken and shall not be mended until I can draw the pieces of my heart back together and find the will to go on.
