So far away where they both  never glimpsing
Upon each others shores always covered in misting
Coverings but always shining their lights ever missing
If only they would brush upon each other light kissing

But to no avail they were never connecting but misplaced
Never would each taste the others light never truly embraced
But they were beacons that's others followed to safe hearts
Never to their needing beacons of waning lonely charts.

But evaporated did the surrounding mists clearing sight
And where light shimmered apart. now both saw to each's delight
That their beacons once apart now connected in blazing white.
But only in darkness could each see the other never in daylight

Among the stars they shone to others safe shores in night
But every so often there light touched to each's invite
For a moment two were now one in the descending moonlight
this only happened when mists had lifted every fortnight.

But they were patient in their reach to others longing hearts
As long as those lights shone and they knew each's light in parts
Then they knew that they would be connected even but for a glimmer
That this aching time meant that their connection collided on a shimmer

"True love never waits  for that light to shine,
*"It only waits for that moment that is a sign,
