Poems
Mar 2016
the names have been changed to protect the ignorant
Ignorance adores
uproar; rage is all the rage.
To die a peaceful
death is anathematic.
Smile, nod. Ignore ignorance.
What started as a statement about our poetic home has become a wishful thought in American life. Some ignorance is too blatant to be ignored.
