Never see tomorrow with misgivings,
never see the past with sad regret;
have no qualms about the present,
of expectations that are not met.

Be content with treasures that you have,
faith in God, your family and friends;
good health, life's simple pleasures,
and a love you know will never end.

The quiet of a peaceful morning,
the splendid glory of a grand sunrise;
the scent of perfume on a summer's day,
the coos of doves... the eagle's cries.

The blue of heaven dotted with white clouds,
the rain that falls... gently on one's face;
the laughter of the one you love beside you,
the refreshment of her warm embrace.

Be glad for now and whatever comes hereafter,
bask in the sunshine and the shadows of your day;
savor all happiness that should come along,
as you enjoy each moment of life's day.
