in flagrante delicto
I wouldn't care to know
what this means, but
I'd hazard a guess after
the watershed
when the kids are a-bed
and the adults have wine.

I guess that I guess that most of
the time, but times that I do know
I am
in flagrante delicto and
she would know
anyway.

But I'm a peasant and
if the English are
as pleasant as they say and
I ask nicely,
today may just be the day
I know too.
