I sit here in the dark
Staring at the stars,
Halfway between lost and found.

Don't turn on the light,
It burns my heart.
I'd try to save it,
But there's no point in
Protecting something that's
already dead.

I'm not waiting.
My heart ain't breaking.

I'm halfway home
Half a world away from you.
Maybe that's as it should be.

But I always wondered
You, or home, which is
Lost and which is found?

I think I know now.
