My mind tries to say

I know there’s danger

There’s blood in the water
And the shark’s very near
The screams from the shore
Resonate in my ear
Saying use extreme caution
Get the hell out of there
There’s an excellent reason
For you to fear

Fools rush in
Where angels fear to tread
I’m following my heart
Instead of my head
I have a strong desire
To get you in my bed
And I’m following it blindly
Despite what I’ve said

There’s blood in the water

So call me crazy
Or call me a fool
Then do your best
To take me to school
I’ve already broken
A cardinal rule
If you’ve been knocked out
Remain on your stool
