I remembered today
in and around 1968
My stepfather
found me work
at the age of ten
For the mob's
Big Henchmen

Digging Ditches
Digging Graves

So hot in the desert
So much dirt on my sweat
Las Vegas is an oasis
but this is no picnic
Three  today
Too much debt on my back

For fifty dollars
A grave
So long
the wait
For Berman's men
