upon the mount singing hymns of paramount
importance for history was not written down
they're  historic for making the past known to us
now minstrels are travelling entertainers
and the harp player is long gone as are
citterns and kettle drums but  memories long past
and in their haste formed a guild where membership
became a rule, which looking back gave birth to me
and a new age of minstrel or singer or poet being
whose card nor license comes in question we just seek out
people to join heartedly in our song our singing
our jesting and membership is not questioned
nor held above the newest member.
If all society were to be, anarchy would be right
funny, see?
