He fell in love with the shell of a woman,
Whos eyes sparked from harshness.
Whos skin was chilled by the idea of lust.

"I swore I've seen a happy you,
And it was the most attractive thing I've ever seen."
What he saw was just a gleam -
Of someone that had never been.

It's not love, I tell you.
"But I swear my love is true."

I'll carve his heart right out,
Cause it wasn't love, I have no doubt.
I'll tell it to his face, that this was a mistake.

"Don't give up."

Why not?
