Give me a
Thump, thump-thump
As the day goes by
And I'll know we'll be alright.

Take me somewhere
Slow to breathe
The poppy seed
And I know we'll manage well.

Carry me,
Wind, carry me
On gusts of nectar green
I know we'll live together

When the trees
When the trees
Whisper to our flying locks
I know we'll fall in love

As songbirds.
I started writing this intending it to be a poem about not getting enough done, but it became something carefree and loose. I suppose we write about what we want in life. I feel better now.
