Poems
Jan 2016
& the greatness that was there
.
The white Ferris wheel
Stands against the dark black sky
While
A tiny sliver of a moon
( Off to the side )
Tells stories of an ancient mystery
And the unansweredย ย question
Of mortality
Lingers
And why we love each other
Though we know we die
Is our truth's bright banner
Which we proudly raise
;:;
The white Ferris wheel
Stands proud and turns so gracefully
We wander the fairgrounds for awhile
And then we finally go home
.
