When those beautiful, deep brown eyes look at me
I often look away
Those eyes seem to pierce my soul
And almost command me to stay

It’s not that I don’t love you
I feel so many things,
Like passion, lust, pure joy
But it’s the fear that really stings

You see, with this love
You can decimate my fragile soul
When all clothes and lights are off
That’s when I’m most vulnerable

It’s not that I don’t love you
I love you so much it hurts
It’s just.. our Love is terrifying
Because you can see me for all I’m worth

I never expected you to want to stay
And that’s why I look away.
