I need to watch
Moment to moment
For that major mental mistake
That I make
The cognitive error that
Causes all confusion
And disillusion.

Trusting my mind,
Trusting my senses
Is stupid.
They have proven
Time after time
Again and again
They were wrong
In the end.

Me here, thing there,
Thing free from me,
Thing will always be.
If I close my eyes
Thing stays.
Even if I go away
Thing stays.
This is the major mental mistake
That I make,
Asleep or awake!
