I try so hard to explain my feelings to them
But they don't want to hear it
Or they cut me off before I can really explain it
And seeing as I am a very verbal person
It takes time for me to figure out what to say
No one has the time of day
They hardly care what I say
That's okay though
Even if it's why I've never felt important
I just gotta make my own importance
