As My Love Lies Sleeping
by
Jude Kyrie

Sleep sweetly love and Hushabye .
I will bring you my  lullaby
In my arms lay so gentle and sweet
Bringing comfort as my love falls asleep.
The world is in the turmoil of the madmen’s cry.
But not in our moonlight not even a sigh.
Memories that fill my heart with your kiss
Until morning will cover our bodies with bliss.
As the moonlight succumbs to the morning light.
My arms will carry you safe through the night.
The entire rude world that lives in the day
has faded to shadows as in my arms you do lay.
Moonlight it drifts around your sleeping head
Safe and warm forever in our blessed bed.
My heart is silently shouting my love in a loud cry
Beheld by you beauty in my lullaby
Sleep well my Angel
