You look the part
Dressed to ****
You hook me in
Part of the thrill.
But I’ve played this game too
We wait to pursue
He chats you up
But he’s not the one.
Your eyes say that.
He has to run.
How will it play
Will you walk away
You change the scene
Let him in
A little laugh
Such a sin
He’s not for you.
You know that too
I send you a drink
Not to late
You smile inviting
Could be fate
But I’ve played this game too.
How we pursue
I'm not the one
Not tonight
But someday before it’s too late
Who knows
Could be fate.
