I did dream of you before first light of day
that together we laid
arm in arm holding each other close
spent from our love making

We watched from under covers
watched the sun call morning
and upon the table by the window
red roses did appear

is all I ever want to do
to be your love forever
on pillows of feathers

Hoping this dream comes to fruition
