The music in my head-
it's in the blowing of the wind against a leaf,
it awakens the dead,
it eases the burden of grief.

The music in my heart-
it's in the smashing of the waves against the shore,
it unites good and bad,
it relieves the pain in a broken wound and sore.

The music in my life-
it is in every tinkling sound,
it takes away strife,
it lifts the fallen off the ground.

The music in my mind-
it's in the chirping of the bird,
it is vision to the blind,
and everlasting life to the dead.

The music that i hear-
it's neither mine nor thine,
it is everywhere,
so let us wine and dine.
