I hear the children crying in my sleep,
I hear their parents dying as they weep,
I hear the waves blinding their glance,
I hear them praying for just one chance,

A chance for a life with peace of mind,
To live without fear from us, mankind,
A chance to run in fields of green,
A chance to forget the horror they'd seen,

They dream for a future of tranquillity,
They dream of a living like you and me,
They try to escape to a fairytale land,
But lose all their dreams under death's hand,

And some of you say, they're only immigrants,
Why should we give them a chance,
They only want money, to beg and steal,
It's heartless and cruel the way you feel,

These people are humans, like me and you,
Same dreams same wants, yes it's true,
They love and care and hope like me,
They feel, they cry, they long to be free,

My heart is aching for all humankind,
Words of comfort I cannot find,
I'm ashamed and disgraced by how you react,
Your not worthy of a soul and that's a fact.
Prayers for all those poor people. God bless them x
