When I think of spring
The new cherry blossoms are in bloom.
Reminding me of my dear mother.
She loved their heavenly perfume
as she opened her kitchen window.

New born lambs in the green
rich grasses of the meadow.
Remind me of the beauty
of the renewal of life
and the mortality of us all.

The young lovers holding hands
gazing into each other eyes.
Hearts overflowing
with life and love.
Ignoring the spring rains.
They remind me of you my love
Springtime Always makes me cry.
