She sits with him in beautiful glory
that woman of sweet justice
oh wonder why he sits with her
giving her the time of the wolf

Black lace adored her frame
that was the last image he did see
hunters had made trade on him
and he was dying

She saved him from the hunters
many winters ago
and since then he walks with her
with love in his eyes for her

No greater a love is kindness
so till the end of his life
he will be her sentinel
her devoted protector

At night he sits outside her wood cabin
guarding her with passion
his love is only for her
and his devotion his vow
