Vicious clawing, climbing, cutting
Hands are clenched, jaws are jutting

Cooperation, let's get past this part
Pounding, pounding, head and heart

Wheezing, wincing, whines and warning
I hear a brand new era's dawning

Unconvincing, boss man's patter
Time to act? It doesn't matter

Work as I will or try as I might
There's no mobility up, am I right?

Been ten years on this ******* job
And you treat me like a rookie slob

Saved the day on more than one occasion
There's no way you don't owe me compensation

Time to look around and see what I can get
Been saying that for years but I haven't started yet
Ugh. Working for a living. Time to update the ol' CV.
