A splash of light!
The morning came,
And with a hint of rain,
The sun rose high.

I searched your face,
In rumpled sheets,
In busy streets,
I looked for you.

The crowds pushed forward,
Too busy to care,
For thoughts that dare
involved mundane things,

You heard my voice,
Past thundering jeers,
Of distant fears
I whispered softly.
