my body is bottle glass
its shatters
under the hammered
kisses of her
my body is crude
and
salt glazed
lying next to
the porcelain pieces
       of her
my body is obsidian
glossed
by the heat of her
my body is
a crooked
                 rhyme
timed by the beat of her
my body is a cider apple
made bitter or made sweet by her
my body is a vessel made broken
or complete by her.
