" I sit here with my thoughts, counting them one
by one.
The problem i have, is i never seem to get done.
Like a freight train at times speeding through me
so fast.
While others slow down like a growing blade of grass.
They come in different emotions.
Many have me shed an abundance of tears.
Others are full of laughter thinking of my wonder years.
The world, and it's confusion places me in this place.
I think of the bitter times that Blacks, and White face.
We never have any answers that can make certain thoughts
disappear.
Or can it be we don't ask the right questions to
have them blown away into thin air?
A thought of optimism has just entered my mind.
Could this be the beginning of leaving many thoughts behind?
They say it's healthy when thoughts feed the brain, but
unhealthy when in the direction of becoming insane."
Written because of the turmoil America is going through between Blacks, and
the police forces. May God keep all lives that matter in his arms ..!!!
