Goodbye were the only words he spoke
I ran
He was the only one who kept me sane
I ran faster hoping to ask him to stay
His smile is what brightens my days
I picked myself up after falling I saw blood but it didn't matter
I ran because his words made me feel liked I belonged in this world of perfection
But as I got there I felt my chest drop
I bolted through the door to yell his name
But all I hear are silence
I run like a mad man over the house
Then I come to a room where he lays
His body is lifeless he has no warmth
Now I know I wasn't the one that kept him sane
