May 2015
Cigarettes stopped tasting the way they should
They stopped holding that zest that made me content
The nicotine buzz isn't worth the smell
The moment I stopped and looked
The ashes no longer sang to me
My lighter no longer kept me warm
The same day,
I got to know you
