How could you know?
For staring on that time
Into the nothingness
Feeling so alone
But your absence
Witheld
Simply comforted me
Though you drank of sweet sleep
My eyes swallowed the turmoil
And my memories stayed suppressed
Though I wanted them dead
Offered up
With palms stretched out
Engrained
Like satellite images
Reasoned to exist
