The blade calls her name from the box
she’s being tempted again
she knows she doesn’t need to do this
but the thought won’t leave her head
She’s been really stressed these past few days
she has every reason to do it
but her actions just leave scars
she’s knows this because she’s been through it
She walks away from temptation
but the blade still calls to her
all she has ton do is use it once
and the stress will leak out of her
but once turns into twice
and twice turns into three
next thing you know she’s wearing long sleeves
hiding a secret from everybody
She decides enough is enough
and walks toward the blade
she picks it up, swears to it then tosses the thing away
she leans agaisnt her wall numb
unsure of what to say
she confronted her addiction
now the cutting stops today
