I like to believe that I'll wake up,
and it won't cross my mind.
That I'll go all day
without it burrowing itself into my head.
We both know that's a lie.

I like to believe that you'll wake up,
and it'll cross your mind too.
That I least once, you'll stop
and think.
We both know you won't.

I hope to be done with my work
before it starts to weigh me down.

Just
another
*******
Monday.
It would be our two year anniversary, yet instead I spend it alone.
