Remember the night we walked in
The moon's light?
It shone so bright I saw the very essence
of your being.
We were barefoot
And the blades of grass were so sharp
They sliced the soles of our feet.
We wept
Because we felt.
We felt
Because of Faith.
So we closed our eyes,
Embraced the dark
And gave in to the pain.
