Western wind, when wilt thou blow,
The small rain down can rain?
Christ, if my love were in my arms
And I in my bed again!
This is probably older than the given date and originally in Middle-English. No one can say exactly what it means, but I read it as a soldier's lament. Who knows! It is lovely in any case.
