Three days no sleep..
My mind is shallow and no longer deep..
I can't remember the dreams..
I can't seem to find the colors and light beams..
There were these owls made of shadow..
with huge beaming eyes that seem to rattle..
On white buildings they perched..
all staring at me through mirrors in reverse..
they are living off of my sleep..
absorbing all of my dreams..
finally I look to the orange sky..
the clouds open up and the owls scream and cry..
Falcons made of light dove down..
killing the shadow owls with talons of light unbound..
the moon begin to shine again..
The light falcons became the stars and wind..
I was able to finally sleep..
the shallow waters in my mind again run deep...
