As the sun darkened across the skies
a blast of triumph overwhelmed me
the heavens shook and rain prevailed
the storms came gushing in
fires spread in a rampage
the world was seeing its last light
as the stars could be seen no more
bitterness overtook the hearts
of those once so full of love
and wrath had made the angry evil
death came knocking at the doors
skulls laid in the middle of the street
bodies lay being eaten by beasts
that began to roam the earth
terror filled what had become a cruel world
an underworld of darkness for all eternity
hell had opened its pit doors
and demons had gushed out of the flames
a blast of triumph had come and gone
as the sun darkened across the skies
