This empty, merciful place
Brings sadness to these souls
These blissful, ignorant places
It's plenty good for those who

Want to breathe and forget their lies
Exhaling peace through the wartime fires
One born at ease and another life perspires
The deaf hear it and know
The blind see come and go

This perfected and ageless race
Comes as a burden for survival
Continued flawed and shameful ages
It's horrific for the children of those who

Can't believe they've seen their ends
Come crashing down in wartime fires
Shot down as beliefs truly disguised in desires
Generations see it and know
But the lives still come and go

But bear it all for honest heart's sake
Admit our rights came from honest mistakes
We'll fight and claw for each we've made
An end to the fall closer and closer each day
And we bear it all for all our heart's sake
Brought closer to every mind by our own mistakes
Out of my arms, you've hit the earthen floor
I'm still unsure exactly how much this is worth for

Those who want to breathe and forgive themselves
Their loudest screams echo their silent hells
And trusted lips have said the damnedest words
The truth exists and will show
When the lies give hold
