No skin on which to place my lips,
No hands to rest upon your hips,
No legs to walk towards me,
No ear to hear your whispers,
No hair to wind around your hands,
No feet with which to step on your toes ,
No mouth to kiss me on the nose,
No waist to wrap your arms around,
No spine to run my fingers down,
No neck for me to rest my face,
No elbows to brush your thighs,
No face to see my smiling eyes.
But what I have are memories in my head,
Of everything you have ever said.
