a walk in the park
i took a little walk to the local park
a little after midnight it was rather dark.
then i heard a noise from behind a tree
so i took a look to see what it could be.
there i saw some fairies dancing in a ring
a lark was in the middle and he began to sing.
singing there so sweetly a lovely melody
while the fairies danced so happy and so free.
i sat there a while till it was time to go
then i headed home with my heart aglow
