They think the war is over but for me
it's just begun, when the night slows in
and the dreams begin
I know it's time to run.

These shadows on my mainframe are old friends,
and old friends remain until the end,
until they send me screaming into
the nearest foxhole.

Someone saved my soul last night
but
tonight's not far away.
