Walking thru an endless night, the trees are spinning bright.
The cracks in the sidewalk spell your name,
and then I realize nothing will ever be the same.
Now comes the begining light, holding onto your morality tight,
Through the constant struggle of this new begining.
Fighting, loosing, winning.
Mid day hits you hard and fast,
That warm tingling feeling you liked didn't last.
You look up to the sky,
The sun burns your eyes.
Your standing there feeling broken.
Praying so hard for one little token,
Of peace if mind.... security, hope
Only left to sit here trying to cope.
