Infinite years past
To dig with impatience
Seems like forever to you now
There's nothing here
But betrayal
Twisted words
Depths unknown even to you
Pleading
Again
To go home
Forbearing a tainted helix
Your fingerprints
Not much to see
But stained with rage
We beg for love
But are given faith
However durable
Unquenched
In the simplest of ways
