In my thoughts
Paris,
the god of love.
If I didn't know that it wasn't so
would it make me weep,
lose sleep,
keep my friends near and dear,
dig in deep?
In the 21st century we're in the
outlaw territory,
among the
oath takers, widow makers,
prayers,slayers,and
people betrayers.
East of Eden in the land of Nod,
Paris does battle with
another God and
love goes out the
window.
