Dec 2014
These buildings are just a front
for darkened alleys and sewer rats
where the scavengers gather and hunt
with enough sense to hide from cats

shocked expressions on ***** bricks
pain written on a transient's face
dirt can be washed, but tragedy sticks
where we hide our own disgrace
