The world’s light shines, shine as it will,
The world will love its darkness still.
I doubt though when the world’s in hell,
It will not love its darkness half so well.
Friend I stand on your door with open arms
For the grace of your words they truly charm
I love them your agrees and the little spats
Your flowers in my hand bouquets brickbats!

It’s for you only that I get to see
What I am and what I could be
For that you never mind to part precious time
Gift that to me for my trifling rhyme!

My heart’s reader your words always charm
Your likes light up even the humdrum
It’s in your views that my writes come alive
They make a poet breathe his poems survive!

It then so happens your words become my own
Your seeds of thoughts in me get sown
My dreams meet yours mind touches mind
An awakening blooms in that priceless find!

Oh this time out,
      No doubt about,
IT,
Will not be my last,
I will go back and back,
For it is my future,
I met Her where the land
Failed to go further,
What a gentle maiden the Sea
was, for I had never met Her,
like this before, the white sharp
teeth barely showed, as Her lips
curled as waves do,
and She spoke with a still sweet
voice, not the snarl and crash
I am used to, and She whispered
to ME, "step closer, and enter me,
I will take you, lighten your load,
we will float together, under the stars,
                        Forever.
I stood
and sobbed
bottle to my
lips, full the
emptiness,
the loneliness
I share with
no one except
the sea, sorry,
the Sea, the will,
if I had not had a
miserable life,
which makes
me undeserving
to lay with you Sea,
as you would pour
into me, to empty
my sorrows, replace
my one joy, with
a cold into which,
my witch, you
would no longer
recognize the
bloated cocoon
that would hide
me, as I would
bottom out of life
to consummate
            You my wife,
strangers
once again,
starting over.

Beyond the chaos of the border
between reason and disorder
lies a world that ever beckons
to the darkness in my soul

A land of everlasting laughter
that was once and will be after
all the things we thought
we fathomed turn to dust
in granite holes

Take me far beyond the steeple
to a land of unscathed people
where no single rule or concept
dooms us all to God’s abyss

Show me love without condition
without heaven or perdition
where no act of false contrition
guarantees eternal bliss

As a bird sings in the heat of summer,
confident and proud with balanced harmony,
free to fly on the breeze so slight,
so does her laugh ringing true to her spirit's light,
the passion inside of her burning so bright.

As the sea rises and falls like the moon each day,
bringing forth the sun to reveal flowers blooming on trees,
petals fall effortlessly from each outstretched branch,
just as her eyelids, fluttering shut with silent dreams,
as the night begins and moonbeams fill her face with ease.
this was meant to be added to but no words seem right so i will leave it like this for now. i will still post it though. this is from weeks ago.
For one night, and one night only,
I will love you madly.
And I know from the way you move with me;
exquisite,
And from the longing in your eyes;
exulting,
That for one night, and one night only,
You will love me madly too.

I wake up to the sound of rain.
With my eyes closed I listen to it drum against my window,
And I listen to his steady breaths.
With my head on his chest I can feel his heart beat,
And I feel his hand on my bare back.
And in this moment, this perfect contentment,
I know that I love him.
And in this moment, this pure and quiet joy,
I feel as though I'll never be alone.

I wake up to the sound of rain.
With my eyes still closed, I listen to it drum against my window.
And I swear I can almost hear him breathing,
Can almost feel his heart beat,
And his fantom hand on my bare back.
And I cling to the memory of this moment,
Trying desperately to delay the pain.
And I brace myself for the moment,
When I will wake up alone.
